Description

It is estimated that 2-3% of patients have some form of psoriasis. Dr. J. Scott Kennedy gives a tour of the different types of psoriasis and causes.

Objectives:

Differentiate psoriasis and its variants
Formulate a treatment plan based on location and severity of disease
Distinguish comorbidities of psoriasis

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the American Osteopathic Association (AOA). The Arizona Osteopathic Medical Association (AOMA) is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians.

Beatrice Keller Clinic Dermatology

J. Scott Kennedy, DO, FADD practices with Beatrice Keller Clinic Dermatology at the Sun City West location. He earned his medical degree from Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale, Arizona. After achieving his medical degree, Dr. Kennedy spent his residency at the Wilford Hall/Brooke Army Medical Center in Texas. Dr. Kennedy is Board Certified with the American Board of Dermatology. His primary focus here at Beatrice Keller Clinic Dermatology is Medical Dermatology, Skin Cancer and Surgical Dermatology. Dr. Kennedy also performs cosmetic procedures including Botox, Pulse Dye Laser, and Chemical Peels. During his off time, he is an avid tennis player, and also enjoys golf, hiking, and spending time with his loving family.
