It all started when I dropped out of college, got an entry-level marketing job, and quickly worked my way up to VP of Marketing. I became responsible for team members, top-line revenue, vendors, and clients.

And I was failing miserably.

My team was complaining about me as a leader.

My boss told me that if I didn’t get my act together, I was fired.

My default reaction was to work longer hours and sleep less, but I was already getting only 3-4 hours of sleep a night. I needed to work smarter, not longer.

So I studied productivity and consumed thousands of videos, audio recordings, seminars, books, and workshops. If I wasn’t sleeping, I was either working or studying productivity.

With my new skills, I got MORE done than I had before — in less time. I was able to get everything done in a normal 40-hour work week. In one year, I read 35 books, finished 21 audiobooks, and lost 20 pounds.

I trained my team members and they became more productive, too.
