2: If you are not learning concentration tools in your workshops and classes you are simply stuck in performance fantasy. Proper script investigation means investigate that script and steer clear of “cold reading” classes or tools that do not increase your concentration and imagination.

3: Learning to act without the use of actions and subtext is the kiss of death. You must learn how to use specific subtext tools or the camera will not pick up your thoughts and underlying emotion.

4: A proper method acting tool box will give you so much craft support, if you haven’t picked up the ability to self-direct your performance choices you will end up at the mercy of a technical director who knows very little about motivating or directing the inner life of an actor’s performance.
