For everyone I’ve checked this for, when I ask Spirit “What percentage of this person’s past lifetimes have ended in death by suicide?”, I always get a number greater than 0%.
For some, I have gotten numbers way in excess of 50%. Why would this be? Suicide has to do with not wanting to be here, not wanting to accomplish our spiritual mission, and not wanting to live our purpose–wanting to “check out” because we’ve gotten overwhelmed by the contrast of Earth living.
The ego self can convince us that if we weren’t incarnated at all, we wouldn’t have to deal with all the problems of Earth. Yet each time we come into a physical body, it is because we have chosen to do so, hoping that we will have the courage in this life to face our issues and heal our lives.
Suicidal ideation in this life can be caused by past life memories of committing suicide, or desires to do so in a previous lifetimes.
