Our online lessons have been created to preserve the teachings of Bruce Lee with a focus on ”Los Angeles-era” of Jeet Kune Do as taught by Sifu Bob bremer, Sifu Jim Sewell and Sifu Tim Tackett.

This program, which coincides with the 3 student orders as set forth by the Chinatown JKD Association, you will get access to real training under standards and practices set forth by first-generation Bruce Lee students Bob bremer & Jim Sewell, under the direct control of the second-generation instructor Tim Tackett.

Starting with Level 1, you will receive step-by-step lesson plan to help you build the proper foundation in Bruce Lee’s Chinatown JKD.

Levels 2 and 3 builds on this knowledge and introduces you to a wide range of advanced techniques, strategies and training methods; all of which were organized in a clearly defined, systematic curriculum. More advanced lessons introduce you to the various levels of sparring, along with ways to correct and refine the skill-sets you’ve acquired in prior lessons.

All of these requirements, you will need to get up to the 3 Order in the Chinatown Jeet Kune Do and contains over 30 hours of step-by-step videos (100 visitors spread out over 40+ lessons) taught by Sifu Jeremy Lynch, Sifu Dennis Blue and legendary Sifu Tim Tackett.

All the Foundational Techniques – Learn all the foundational techniques required to order up to a 3 Rank in Chinatown JKD, including: footwork, striking, kicking, interception, trapping, sensitivity drills, sparring drills, fighting drills and more!

How To Strike Hard & Fast – Learn to harness your natural abilities to strike with maximum impact.

How To Need to Tips for dozens of exercises and drills to develop your JKD stand-up game instantly

How To Control Distance – Learn simple and efficient maneuvers you can use is always to protect the range and to keep stuff ”in the signal”.

How To Pick up – This is the CORE of the Chinatown JKD. Learn how to intercept EVERY TIME your opponent moves. You’ll also learn about one of our ”bread and butter” technique for intercepting, as taught to us by Sifu Bob bremer (this is a ”lost” technique that is rarely, if ever, taught by other JKD group)

Unique Drills & Techniques – Learn the drills and techniques taught by Sijo Bruce and refined over the last 40 years by Sifu bremer, Tacket and Sewell.

How to Properly Bridge the Gap – While JKD is intercepting you don’t always want to wait for the fight to come to you! Learn to take the initiative and attack first, and by ”taking care of” various lines of attack.

Trapping… The Chinatown JKD Way – not ”chase hand” or ”trapping for trapping’s sake”. Learn how you can start using your trapping in a functional program. To learn to trap and throw; trap & takedown; trap and trip, how to trap & choke and more!

Grappling Counters & Drills – Learn the simple, yet effective counters for the most common grappling engagements. Footwork counters, level changes, clinch work and more!

Chinatown JKD ABC & Trapping series–, As part of the requirements for the rank in Chinatown JKD, you are required to do the ABC (Attack by Combination) and the Trapping series. You learn each of our series (over multiple modules), to get you ready for progress.

Boxing Drills – to Learn the required boxing drills and techniques taught by Sijo Bruce Lee at his Los Angeles Chinatown Kwoon.

Defensive Drills – Learn the various defensive drills, such as: the offense, and ”bob and weave” progressions; boxing, kickboxing and wall survival drills.

Attack Methods – an in-depth look at Sijo Bruce Lee’s famous ”5 Methods of Attack”: a Single direct Attack / Single Angular Attack; Attack By Combination; Attack By Drawing; step By step through Accident, Attack; Hand Immobilization Attack. You also, as and in-depth reading in the ”broken rythm” and how to apply it in a fight.

Sensitivity Training – The swinging gate drill; against the trapping system; combative applications trapping; energy drills, as taught in Sifu Dan Inosanto’s backyard class; and what we deem as ”art historical”.

Advanced Striking & Footwork – Advanced punching, kicking, footwork drills and techniques of Chinatown Jeet Kune Do.

Infighting Techniques – Sifu Dennis Blue shares the infighting techniques as taught in Sifu Tackett’s garage (as part of the JKD Wednesday Night Group) designed to fill in gaps in the Chinatown JKD curriculum concerning close quarters fighting. While this is considered one of the accessories material, is a very important part of your overall game

Land Escapes – Sifu Jim McCann tells us that our approach to ground fighting, which is simple: ”to get to the feet!”Learn simple and effective technique getting off the ground from various locations (in case, you find yourself on the ground during the encounter).

The wooden Dummy (Mook Jong) – Sifu Tackett provides a general overview of the technique and training methods on the Mook Jong. Sifu focuses on the elements of Wing Chun and JKD sets (created by Dan Inosanto) used most often by the JKD Wednesday Night Group & Chinatown JKD.

Distance Drills – These lessons in volume 9 concludes the Level 2 set. Sifu Tackett is to teach you how to defend or intercept by controlling range during an encounter. He communicate with many drills and plans to use the space to your advantage.

Core Technique and Elegance – To the finer details to Stop Foot (including the leg obstruction and shin-knee sidekick) as well as correct lead to, gaining the proper penetration of the punches and HIA (Hand Immobilization Attacks).

The ”Biu Jee” – In the ”Biu Jee” or Finger Jab is one of the most important skills in the Chinatown Jeet Kune Do. Sifu Dennis parts in different ways by applying the finger jab, the various drills used company technique, the entire ’lives’ training the finger jab and use the finger jab aggressive against the opponents.

Full-Contact Sparring – Sparring full contact is a crucial element of JKD training. In these lectures we’ll take a look at some common mistakes you and your training partners that you may encounter when sparring, and how to best correct them.

Feints, Drink & Draws – Learn the subtle difference between the feints, fakes and draws. This is an in-depth look at the art of the feint in Jeet Kune Do and how to properly apply it in training and sparring.

Battery Leads – Bruce Lee the author uses ’strong side forward’ stance in Jeet Kune Do. In Level 3, we will take a look at the pros and cons of JKD stance, as taught in Chinatown JKD. The design and system are described as well as the use of trapping against an opponent who was trained to fight from the orthodox stance.

Solo Training – If you want to excel in your training, you will need to learn how to train, when no training partner is available. In Level 3 we have a 90-minute segment in a variety of solo training methods using common equipment such as heavy bag and double end bag.

Another Fight – As you grow in JKD, you must learn the proper systems and plans for another fight, and how they apply to JKD. The whole lesson is dedicated to lecture and demonstration by Sifu Dennis Blue in the training and application of the personal struggle with JKD.
