The Single Most Important Thing You Must Do To Achieve Financial Freedom
In Just 30 Days You Can Have A Precisely Engineered, Personalized, Step-by-Step Plan That’ll Show You The Exact Actions To Take Every Day So Financial Freedom Is Concrete And Realistically Achievable. No More Guessing And No More Doubts. The Only Thing Left To Do Is Complete The Actions.
You want financial freedom, but how will you get it?
Surprisingly, the answer is simple (even for non-financial-experts) when you understand how the process works.
I call it a “wealth plan”, but that name doesn’t describe it well.
The problem becomes obvious when you realize that after 19 years of coaching people to financial independence not one client has ever come to me looking for this “wealth plan” (even though it’s the proven answer to your financial questions and concerns.)
Like most people, you probably believe “planning” is something you pay your broker or financial advisor to do for you. You hire an expert for a fee and they deliver a document with the label “Investment Plan” or “Financial Plan”.
Or maybe you have some general idea that it’s already taken care of because you fund retirement accounts, save when you can, and assume it will all work out.
The reality is you’ve already “been there-done that” with these conventional planning approaches, yet you still feel some uncertainty about how to achieve your financial goals, and whether or not you’ll really have enough money to do what you want to do.
- Financial independence before you’re too old to enjoy it.
- Stay home with the new baby so you don’t have to go back to work.
- Pay for the kid’s college without going into debt or sacrificing retirement.
- Switch careers to something more fulfilling, but less lucrative.
- Pursue your entrepreneurial dream without breaking the bank.
Every one of these questions is solved by my unique “wealth planning” process, and it’s totally different, and dramatically moreeffective than the conventional process you might mistake it for.
- It’s about strategically integrating all major aspects of your life to methodically and relentlessly cause your financial independence through the hundreds of decisions you make (and actions you take) every day, week, and month of the year. You can’t delegate this wealth plan to your advisor because you can’t pay someone to live your life for you.
- It includes all asset classes (real estate, business, and paper assets), and isn’t just about buying some recommended mutual funds, stocks, or other financial product that your advisor can sell you.
- It integrates your personal life with your financial life into a holistic solution based on your unique skills, resources, and interests, because your personal financial goal is about much more than just money.
- It includes an advanced planning framework built on an entirely different set of principles producing bigger results much faster than conventional financial planning can provide.
In fact, getting this wealth plan right is so critically important to making sure you reach your most important financial goal that it’s the first thing I do with every new coaching client. It’s the make-or-break starting point that determines whether your financial efforts will be wasted, or rewarded.
Yes, it’s that significant.
Here’s the rub… engineering a personalized, written, wealth plan is the single most important step to achieving financial freedom because the alternative is wasted effort every day, inefficient resource use, and high risk of failure. This is just common sense, and the alternative is irrational. Why would you do any different?
Yet, isn’t it amazing that most people spend more time planning their family vacation than planning their future wealth?
Everyone knows their vacation won’t happen unless it’s all planned in advance with flight and room reservations. It’s pretty obvious. But few people realize how your wealth won’t grow unless you make similar reservations of your time and financial resources.
Think about it this way–you would never consider building a house without first having an architect design and blueprint the entire structure. You need to know how all the parts fit together and the strategic order to build them in before that first board is cut or nail is driven. Anything less would cause a haphazard result and wasted effort.
Well, financial independence works the exact same way.
You need a blueprint with step-by-step instructions that carefully engineers your daily actions into a strategic order so everything fits together efficiently. It must be uniquely designed to fit your skills, resources, financial needs, and abilities or it won’t work.
When designed properly, your plan becomes the bridge between your situation today and your financial dreams for tomorrow. When that plan is real, then your dreams become real. The only thing left to do is complete the actions required. It makes the whole journey to financial freedom so much easier.
The disturbing truth is every day you live without this blueprint guiding your decisions decreases the odds of achieving your financial goals. It puts you just a little further away making it harder to reach.
If you want financial freedom in this lifetime then the next few minutes reading how all this fits together should be time well spent…
I Almost Missed How Important This Is (and why you shouldn’t).
My approach to designing a wealth plan has always been different from the mainstream. Surprisingly, I had no idea my approach was unusual.
It all seemed common sense to me, and I assumed everyone approached their financial goals the same way – scientifically, precisely engineered, rationally.
In fact, from the earliest days of my coaching, I’ve been teaching my clients the same methods I’ll teach you in this course, which is the same thing I did for my own life 30 years earlier.
The reason I did it this way is because it worked. It was logical. In fact, it’ll probably seem like a no-brainer when you see how it’s put together.
That’s why I was blindsided when I took a marketing class and one of the early assignments was to interview current and former coaching clients to ask them what they most valued about working with me.
I was shocked by the results…
Clients I hadn’t spoken with for years told me how they were still methodically working from the same wealth plans we had created years earlier, and continuing to produce enviable results.
Most surprising was how nearly every client told me they’d never seen anything like their wealth plan anywhere else before. They shared stories of showing it to family and friends and none of them had ever seen anything like it before either.
I could not believe it!
I was so close to the process, zeroed in on what I thought everyone else already knew, that I couldn’t see what was amazing about it, or why these clients reacted with such energy.
What was obvious to me (and my clients, once they saw it) was not common practice. In fact, it was quite unusual.
These clients had a tool that none of their friends or family had, and they were methodically achieving their financial goals in a way that their friends and family couldn’t.
They had access to a powerful tool anyone can wield, but few understood how to actualize into life.
I began to realize that most people confused a properly designed wealth plan with things like bank accounts or investment plans created by brokers and advisors.
They couldn’t see how to design their entire life as a way to achieve their financial goals, and their results showed. But your life can be different…
Why Traditional Wealth Plans Are Misleading…
It’s an all too common scenario.
You’re sitting across the desk from your financial planner.
He asks a few questions about your income, expenses, and rattles something off about your risk tolerance.
Then he plunks the info into his computer and prints out a beautifully manicured document with pretty pie charts and colored graphs that magically identifies the exact asset allocation you need to create your financial utopia (and he just happens to have exclusive access to these investments!).
Supposedly it’s your wealth plan, but there are a few problems…
- It’s a completely useless document because there is nothing for you to do with it (except send money to your financial planner to buy the investments he recommended) thus you place it on your shelf when you get home, where it collects dust in the periphery of your world.
- It fails to answer the most essential question in wealth planning – how are you going to create the wealth in the first place?
In other words, essential steps are missing.
When you take a deeper look the problems become obvious:
- It’s not an actual plan to help you build wealth or achieve other financial goals. It assumes you already have money to invest. So what you actually get is a plan for parking the wealth you earned elsewhere (because the real goal of the planner is to sell you financial products…and yes, that includes investments).
- It’s limiting. The asset portion of the plan typically includes only the paper assets (stocks, bonds, mutual funds) the advisor can sell you. What about real estate, the grossly undervalued tax advantages and income acceleration opportunities from business? What about learning how to manage your expenses, and all the other components that should make up a comprehensive wealth strategy? There’s more that must be included than the “pros” are suggesting.
- It’s mindless because it’s passive. The plan requires no action on your part. It’s completely passive. The only thing you’re supposed to do is give your broker/advisor all the money you earn elsewhere and trust his wise investment allocation abilities that will supposedly make you rich. Just pay his fees and give him money.
The hidden incentives that bias this type of plan should be obvious. But how do you create a comprehensive wealth plan that’s not missing essential components and isn’t biased by advisor compensation?
The answer is simple. You must do it yourself, and that’s what this course helps you accomplish.
The reason you must do it yourself is because you can’t pay someone to care more about your money than his own. It’s not a conspiracy theory: it’s just business common sense. Not only that, most of what creates wealth in the first place can’t be sold to you so your advisor has no business model or incentive to help you sort it out.
You can’t get your advisor to build your wealth for you, and you can’t get your advisor to organize and live your life in a way that makes your financial goals a reality. You must do it yourself.
Sure! Everybody would prefer to delegate this to a “professional”, but can you name one important activity in your life – career, kids, relationships, health – where the “proven strategy” doesn’t require active involvement on your part? Of course not! It’s never that easy…
So why should something as important as wealth building (or any other important financial goal) be any different?
This is just being realistic. Think about it for a moment.
Seriously, if the passive approach worked then people wouldn’t have the financial worries they have.
It simply doesn’t add up!
Sure, we all wish someone else would handle this for us. We also wish “8 Minute Abs” actually delivered a beach body in 8 minutes and fast food was nutritious. But that’s not reality.
The truth is financial freedom is a big goal that has lasting value. Fast and easy solutions may hold emotional appeal, but that’s not how you produce reliable results.
Let’s examine how achieving your financial goals really works in practice…
- What good is a plan that doesn’t result in your taking action?
- How complete or useful can a plan be when it ignores 2 out of the 3 available asset classes (real estate and business) for building wealth?
- How useful is a wealth plan that omits creating wealth in the first place but instead only focuses on investing wealth in a very limited way?
You Need To Know Where To Go And How You Will Get There First (Only then can you choose the right investment vehicle to take you there).
A complete wealth planning process includes the following four components:
- 1Wealth Creation Plan – How you’ll create wealth to invest.
- 2Wealth Translation Plan – How to translate your wealth efficiently from income into assets.
- 3Investment Plan – How you invest the wealth to grow faster than inflation to increase purchasing power.
- 4Action Plan – How you make everything above happen, step-by-step.
Notice how the investment plan is only one of four key steps in the entire financial independence plan?
There’s a required series of action steps that must be mapped out in a strategic order before any of the resulting wealth can be invested. The early steps are critically important–yet surprisingly, they’re almost universally ignored.
Another important principle ignored by most wealth plans is the life cycle of building wealth.
As it turns out, there’s a strategic sequence that must be followed to reach your goal as efficiently and quickly as possible.
- In the first half of the life cycle – the Accumulation Phase – the most important action is maximizing your savings rate as a percent of your income. If you want to minimize the time required to achieve financial independence then focus on your savings rate and all the methods for creating a large spread between income and spending during the early part of the plan.
- It is only later in the wealth planning life cycle that your net investment return after inflation plays a critical role.
- In addition, there are more advanced plans based on cash flow and leverage principles taught in Module 5 of the course. This replaces the traditional earn-save-invest asset accumulation strategy with an advanced framework that completely changes how your plan is structured and radically accelerates your financial goals.
What that means is there’s a strategic order in which you want to implement various plans and actions to achieve financial independence depending on your exact life circumstances.
BTW, these aren’t my opinions. These are undeniable math facts. It’s repeatable science based on proven principles.
These principles explain why some postal workers and teachers achieve financial security while certain doctors and lawyers get stuck in financial mediocrity. They explain why some people work hard and end up broke while others exert far less effort and make millions.
In fact, you probably don’t have to look far in your community to find evidence of all these principles at work – both positive and negative. That’s because this is real. It’s all around you in plain site when you know what to look for.
As John Bogle, founder of Vanguard funds, correctly stated,
“The secret is there are no secrets.”
When you take this course you’ll understand how all of this works, and you’ll learn how to put it all into practice for your benefit by formulating your personalized, step-by-step plan to achieve your most important financial goals, including financial independence.
What If You Knew The EXACT Steps You Needed To Take Every Day, Week, Month And Year To Achieve Financial Independence?
Wealth doesn’t require genius, special talents, privilege, or luck.
But it does require an actionable plan based on proven principles that’s organized into strategic steps that will get you results with minimal wasted effort.
In a nutshell, your plan must be…
- Built on proven formulas that lead to financial success.
- Financially realistic (i.e. the math must work).
- Custom fitted to your life, values, goals, skills, and resources so that you can actually implement it.
- Designed to identify and capitalize on your unique, competitive advantages.
- Written in language you understand and can work with.
- Structured to contain all three steps in the Financial Freedom Process – wealth creation, wealth translation, and wealth growth.
- Include proper representation from the three asset categories – business/career, real estate, and paper assets.
- Broken down into simple, manageable steps so you know what to do and when to do it so that you actually reach your goal.
Again, it’s intuitively obvious once you see it; yet, if any of these pieces are missing from your plan then your success will be limited, at best.
A Wealth Plan Works Like A Road Map To Drive You Where You Want To Go
Your personal wealth plan must be designed to answer the following three big questions:
- 1How am I going to get from where I am financially today to where I want to be in the future?
- 2How am I going to make my financial goals fit the life I want to live (versus the other way around)?
- 3What is my competitive advantage that can be converted into wealth?
A properly designed wealth plan converts your financial dreams into reality by reverse engineering these life questions into simple, action steps.
I call it “scenario analysis” where we put math behind your life plans to determine the financial result. For example, ask yourself:
- Should I sell the house or rent it?
- Can I afford to stay at home with the baby?
- How can I pay for the kids college and still secure retirement?
- Can I quit my lucrative career for something more fulfilling?
- Can I “retire” early with lower savings but earn part-time income?
- Should I buy dividend stocks or rental real estate?
- How will my inheritance at age 70 affect things?
- Should I buy an annuity or self-annuitize?
How are you going to convert the answers to all these questions into a single, comprehensive action plan that will actually work?
It’s much easier than it sounds with the right instruction and tools at the ready…
You will prioritize the issues and engineer numbers behind them in an organized way so you can see how each question impacts cash flows and assets.
Once you have the whole picture engineered properly, then you convert it into action steps arranged sequentially over time making your goals totally achievable.
Your financial goals are converted from a confusing set of complex questions into a concrete action plan that feels tangible and within reach for the first time in your life because you can finally see how all the puzzle pieces fit together.
You see that if you do X, then you will get Y. Coaching clients tell me that after completing their plan, it’s the first time in their lives they actually believed they could achieve the goals most important to them (including financial freedom).
They know exactly what to do tomorrow, next week, and next year to make it actually happen. You can feel the exact same way…
How Do I Know I Need To Take This Course?
- If you don’t know if you have enough money to retire securely, or be financially independent earlier than old, or stay at home with the baby and not return to work, or switch careers to something less lucrative but more fulfilling, or pay for the kids college, or drop from a two income family to a one income family without suffering, or {insert important financial goal here], then this course will show you the answer with total confidence.
- If you have no plan, or a broker created plan, or just some miscellaneous ideas scratched down in a dusty ledger then this course is an absolute must.
- If you don’t believe you can achieve your financial goals or aren’t really sure, this step is perfect because it will show you absolutely, positively what you can do and how long it will take given your current resources, skills, and abilities.
- If the idea of being financially free is an idea stuck in the future and not designed for today, then you must take this course.
- If you’ve just gone through a major life change (new marriage, divorce, job change, having children, death of a loved one, etc.) and don’t feel confident about your current retirement strategy, then you’ve come to the right place.
- If you and your spouse argue about money issues then use this course to create a plan together that gets both of you on the same page.
- If you’ve been taking action that isn’t producing the results you want, this course will organize your efforts into a strategic, step-by-step plan so your actions lead to results.
- If you feel overwhelmed, don’t know where to start, or how to convert it all into digestible, bite-sized actions you can actually accomplish then this course is perfect for you.
- If you want to know exactly how you will get out of the rat race – in this lifetime – then this course will show you how.
- If you’re ready to stop talking, stop dreaming, and start committing, then this course is how you put it all together.
However, if you find yourself arguing…
- But I’m not ready
- I can’t do that
- Maybe next year
- But I need to get “fill-in-the-blank” situation handled first
- I don’t have the money
- I don’t have the time
…then you may not be ready and should seriously reconsider your commitment to your financial future.
I can show you how to design your life for financial independence, but I can’t make you take action.
The last thing I want is for you to sign up for this course if you’re not ready to apply the principles and produce useful results. The success of my students is what I live for, but you have to bring a can-do mindset with the determination to make it happen. I can’t do that for you.
Time is the one asset you can never recover. This isn’t a trial run. This is your one and only life right now, and there’s no sensible reason you should waste another day of it.

Now You Can Design Your Personalized Plan To Achieve Wealth…
As I said earlier, the whole process is just common sense once you understand it. It works just like a road map to take you from point A to point B.
You figure out where you are now and where you want to end up, then you route a path to get there. Below is a sampling of several modules in the course showing the journey you will travel as we develop your wealth plan together:
- Defining Your End Goal – You must know where you’re going before you can figure out how to get there. This step is trickier than it looks at first glance because financial freedom is a real number that can’t be faked. You must define exactly what financial freedom is for you, and what it isn’t. You can’t just pick a number out of the air. It is real and unique to you. It has meaning and purpose. We must define your gaol correctly or you won’t get the desired result.
- Finding Your Start Place – This is a bit easier. We do this by taking a complete inventory of your current situation.
