Christopher Xiao is a special musical talent. He started composing music at 13 years old and just 2 years later, he’d written a piece for a full symphony orchestra.

He was the youngest composer ever to have original music entered into various international film festivals such as Cannes, Sundance and New York among many others.

He’s written music for TV commercials for some of the world’s top companies … and Disney wanted him to be a full time composer for them (he declined the offer)…

…and this musical genius is still only 22.

The idea behind the album

Last year, after connecting through a mutual friend, we asked Christopher to write an album based on the celebration of mother Earth. The result is 8 stunning tracks – a musical journey of creation, love and growth; including the haunting Sunrise Over The Arctic, the joyful Waltz of the Birds and the dramatic Mar Mediterraneo.

The Schumann Resonances are electromagnetic waves that exist in the space between the surface of the Earth and the Ionosphere at the following frequencies – 7.83, 14.3, 20.8, 27.3 and 33.8 Hz.

They are said to be the heartbeat of mother earth and have been shown, in scientific studies, to be an essential requirement for physical and psychological health.

Many experts believe that the wide range of artificial Electro magnetic frequencies we are surrounded by every day, (including electrical appliances, wifi and mobile phones), masks the natural beneficial frequency of the Earth. This can cause us to feel more stressed, fatigued and ‘out of balance.’ Therefore by ‘tuning’ in to 7.83 Hz we get back to a state of resonance or attunement with the planet’s own magnetic frequency.
