First presented at the OPSO Annual Conference on September 27, 2019, Dr Betlinski links pain, trauma, and substance abuse and reviews their effects on brain development.
Objectives:

– Know three ways Substance Use helps one cope with the effects of trauma
– Know three ways to help those with a history of trauma

The Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons of Oregon is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians and designates this program for a maximum of 1 AOA Category 2-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician's participation in this activity.
