Objectives:

  • Mitigate the challenges and solutions to implementing an antimicrobial stewardship program

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the American Osteopathic Association (AOA). The Arizona Osteopathic Medical Association (AOMA) is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians.

Matthew Daab, MD is a family medicine on the Navajo Reservation in Tuba City, Arizona. An officer in the U.S. Public Health Service, Dr. Daab received his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University and completed his family medicine residency at Naval Hospital Jacksonville. Prior to medical school, he worked as a physical therapist, including five years on the Navajo Reservation in New Mexico. In addition to providing primary medical care to adults, adolescents, and children, Dr. Daab serves as chair of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Committee at Tuba City.
