After winning first place in the WYSE Regional competition at Northern Illinois University, Marmion’s WYSE team advanced to the State competition on April 23 at Eastern Illinois University. The team received 2nd place in state in their division (Division 700) – the highest Marmion’s WYSE has ever achieved!
Individual State medals were won by: Ben Riner ’20 (2nd in Mathematics, 2nd in Physics), Caleb Ritzheimer ’19 (2nd in English, 3rd in Biology), Michael Neff ’19 (4th in Mathematics) and Justin Suess ’20 (5th in Computer Science).
WYSE State Team members are Jason Baker ’20, Patrick Donahoe ’20, Brady Everett ’21, Max Gorlich ’20, Mason Hartweger ’19, Michael Neff ’19, Antonio Petrucci ’19, Ben Powell ’19, Zachary Pyle ’21, Ben Riner ’20, Caleb Ritzheimer ’19, Justin Suess ’20, and Alex Yakisan ’20.
