I often get asked:

How do you know so much about Social Media?

Did you study Social Media at University? No!

If I said it didn’t exist when I went to University would I be giving away my age?

Did you go to Facebook University? No!

Although I probably would’ve been first in line if this actually existed (sad, but true).

The answer is… I learnt from other industry professionals!

Yes, I did do a Masters in Business (Sport Management, with a marketing focus), but I learnt the social media trade by attending live and online conferences, participating in other people’s webinars and courses, absorbing myself in the details and experimenting to find out what works best and what doesn’t.

I suppose the real secret to my social media knowledge is that I wasn’t afraid to invest in my learning to fast-track results for me and my clients!
